Development of an AI-Based Predictive Analytics Solution.
Afya Intelligence is excited to announce its collaboration with Insupply Health and the Ministry of Health in Tanzania to develop Tabiri, AI predictive models for healthcare commodities quantification. This project can now start after completing a comprehensive review of existing methods like bottom-up quantification (BUQ) and the identification of several challenges that could be addressed by AI.

On 21st December 2021, just six months after obtaining our legal business registration, Afya Intelligence was announced as the winner of the AMUA 3.0 Acceleration Hackathon, #Innovate4SRHData, under the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Sahara Ventures. This hackathon aimed to address the data challenges in sexual reproductive health and build capacity among innovators and entrepreneurs to co-design sustainable solutions that address the data gaps in this sector. We were among several teams that focused their ideas on leveraging data and existing systems to enable healthcare providers to make more informed decisions when it comes to providing better sexual reproductive healthcare(SRH) services.
